SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR THE WEEKEND

Friday, April 25

10:30am Early Registration for the Class of 1975 and classes before 1975. The Loggia. Enjoy Lemonade on the Lawn in front of Candler.


12pm Golden Belles Luncheon honoring the Class of 1975 and classes before 1975. Ticket required. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center


1-4pm Willet Library Open House. Tour the renovated library including the E-Lab and the 3rd floor Archives with College Archivist Virginia Blake and Library Director Kristi Peavy.


1-5:30pm Registration. The Loggia.


2pm A Conversation with the President. Visit with President Meaghan Blight. Burden Parlor, Olive Swann Porter Building.


3-4pm Mentor Mixer: Alumnae Networking Event. Connect with current students and the CCD team, learn about the Alumnae Mentor pilot program, and sign up to mentor or host interns. Center for Career Development First Floor, Willet Library.


3-5pm Remember Dorm Life? Check out renovations in Hightower and Banks. Meet at the front porch door of each dorm for a guided tour by student ambassadors.


6pm Jazzin’ it Up: The Presidents’ Party. Ticket required. Hosted by Alumnae Association President Anna Cornelious Martin ’04 and Past Presidents of the WCAA. Home of Trudie Parker Sessions Fickling ’65 (6300 Rivoli Dr. Macon, GA 31210). Shuttle from Loggia to Party. Catering provided by The Butcher Shop. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, jazz music, 360 photo booth, etc.


8:30pm Scheduled Reunion Class Parties.
 

Saturday, April 26

9-11am Late Registration. Limited seating available for food events. The Loggia.


9-10:30am Reunion Year Class Meetings. Assigned areas. NON-REUNION year class alumnae meet on the Quad under the tents. Reunion Class Photos will be taken only during class meetings.


10am Seniors and Candlelighters Assemble. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center.


10:45am Alumnae Assemble for Parade of Classes. NON-REUNION year classes are welcome to line up behind reunion year classes and join the Parade. Tate Quadrangle.


11am Wesleyan Alumnae Association Annual Meeting. Porter Auditorium. (Live-streamed)
 

1pm Sisterhood Luncheon. Ticket required. Anderson Dining Hall, Olive Swann Porter Building.
 

2pm  Wolf-Den Pitch Contest. Come hear members of Wesleyan’s new Innovators Academy pitch their aspiring entrepreneurial ideas in this Shark-Tank-like event, where the top two finishers will win prize money to start their own business. Pierce Chapel.


3-5pm Remember Dorm Life? Check out renovations in Hightower and Banks. Meet at front porch door of each dorm for guided tour.


4-5pm Springtime in the Arboretum. Visit Anderson Cabin and explore nature trails with Arboretum Director Jim Ferrari, Ph.D. Learn about the many birds, trees, and flowers that call the Arboretum home. Bring walking shoes! Depart from Mathews Athletic Center. Outside restrooms available. Shuttle from Loggia to Mathews.


5-6:30pm Horsin’ Around Happy Hour. Ticket required. Enjoy beer, wine, music, photo booth, food & fun with your Wesleyan sisters. Nancy Ellis Knox Equestrian Center. Transportation available from The Loggia to Mathews Athletic Center. Parking lot available. Wear comfortable shoes. Rain Location: Anderson Dining Hall.


7pm Scheduled Reunion Class Parties.
 

Sunday, April 27

8am Continental Breakfast. Ticket required. Corn Center (Ground Floor), Pierce Chapel.


9:30am Morning Watch. Worship Service for all classes. Led by the Class of 1975. Pierce Chapel.
 

Additional Events and Information

Alumnae Marketplace on the Loggia & Under the Tents. Enjoy shopping for special gifts from alumnae vendors. Sales benefit the College. Saturday, 2-5pm.


Art Exhibits. Open Friday, 1-4pm and Saturday 1-4pm. Cowles Myles Collier East Gallery (Porter Family Memorial Fine Arts Building) and McCrary Gallery (Murphey Art Building): Senior Art Exhibitions.


Black Box/Studio Theatre. Wednesday April 23rd - Saturday the 26th. All performances at 7.30pm.  Wesleyan's Theatre professor and Shakespeare scholar Dr Wisker directs students in a production of Shakespeare's Hamlet. Ground floor, Porter Family Memorial Auditorium. 


Campus Store Hours: Friday & Saturday, 10am-6pm.


CCD First Destination Day. Drop in from 11am-1pm on Friday. Center for Career Development. First Floor, Willet Library.  Meet with seniors as they take their first step towards graduation. 


Reception for Benson and Society Members. By invitation only. Friday, 4:30-5:30pm. Burden Parlor, Olive Swann Porter Building. President Blight will toast alumnae who have given $1,000 or more to Wesleyan during this fiscal year and/or have included Wesleyan in their estate plans. Questions? Wesleyan Nursing Alumnae (BSN) Reunion. By invitation only for Nursing alumnae and current senior nursing students. Friday 7:30-9pm, 2nd Floor Terrace, Munroe Science Center. Young Alumnae Mega Class Party. For alumnae from 2010 to 2024. Saturday, April 26, 7 pm! Let’s get together during Alumnae Weekend at Wesleyan’s Leadership Institute in downtown Macon for a FUN wine tasting and networking event with your Wesleyan sisters. Mark your calendar and stay tuned for more details!


Just for Guests. Stop by the Visit Macon Mobile Visitors Center on front campus for brochures of places to visit in Macon. Friday and Saturday.


Airport Shuttle Service. Available between Atlanta International Airport and Macon via Groome Transportation, Inc.
