At Wesleyan College, our mission is Accelerating Equality for Women—First in 1836, Now and Forever. That’s why we created the Eagle Scout Scholarship for young women who’ve earned Scouting America’s highest rank. Eagle Scouts don’t wait for doors to open—they build them—mobilizing teams, leading with integrity, and delivering real service that changes communities. That’s the kind of leadership Wesleyan amplifies every day: practicing the confidence, grit, and purpose our campus cultivates through small, discussion-based classes, hands-on leadership labs, and a sisterhood that champions your voice. This scholarship recognizes what you’ve achieved and invests in your next summit—so you can scale bigger challenges and keep redefining what’s possible.
Value: $1,000 annually (Maximum $4,000 over four years)

Important: You must apply to Wesleyan and be admitted before you can access the scholarship portal or submit any application-based scholarship.
Submit your application and upload all required documents. Once your application is complete and you receive an admission offer, you’ll gain access to the scholarship portal in your Wesleyan Application Portal (WesPortal).
Apply early so you have time to complete scholarship materials before February 2, 2026.
U.S. students must have a submitted FAFSA on file before they submit any application-based scholarship. Filing the FAFSA helps us build your best total package (it’s required for last-dollar calculations and many need-sensitive awards).
Wesleyan’s FAFSA school code: 001600.
International students: You are not required or eligible to file the FAFSA.
Sign in to WesPortal to view scholarship requirements, essay questions, portfolios/auditions (if applicable), and criteria for each award. Complete all required components for each scholarship you choose to pursue.
You may apply for more than one scholarship; however, you can only be selected for a maximum of one (1) scholarship.
Plan your time: some scholarships ask for essays, recommendations, or creative materials. Don’t delay submitting your application close to the deadline, the earlier you apply the better!
Deadline: All materials must be submitted by February 2, 2026 (11:59 p.m. ET).
After the deadline, selected applicants will be invited to a virtual interview. Interviews are conducted online and can be completed from anywhere in the U.S. or abroad. Details and scheduling instructions will be sent by email to invited candidates.
If selected for a scholarship, follow the instructions in your award letter. To secure both your admission and your scholarship, submit your non-refundable enrollment deposit by the deadline shown on your scholarship offer: $300 (U.S. students) or $1,000 (International students).
Only admitted students can access the scholarship portal—apply to Wesleyan early.
Keep an eye on your email (and WesPortal) for updates or interview invitations.
