
Under her leadership, Wesleyan has achieved significant enrollment gains, raised academic standards, and implemented programs centered on student well-being and success—resulting in double-digit increases in retention and academic achievement within a single academic year.
In just over three years, Blight has led record-breaking fundraising efforts, securing more than $40 million to expand scholarships, enhance learning environments, and revitalize campus life. Building on this momentum, she is leading a $61 million comprehensive capital campaign to ensure long-term financial sustainability, grow the endowment, strengthen academic innovation, and modernize campus infrastructure.
She launched the Wesleyan College Leadership Lab in downtown Macon, home to the CEO (Creating Equal Opportunities) Leadership Institute, connecting students to leadership, internship, and mentorship opportunities. She also oversaw the reopening of the newly renovated Banks Residence Hall after eight years offline.
An active community volunteer, Blight serves on the boards of the Macon Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the William I.H. and Lula E. Pitts Foundation, strengthening partnerships between higher education, business, and philanthropy across the region.
In recognition of her impact, she was honored as Champion of Transformative Change at the Central Georgia Women of Impact Awards and named one of Macon Magazine’s Top 5 Under 40 Young Leaders.
Provost of The College and Vice President for Academic Affairs

Prior to Wesleyan, Dr. Blake served as Provost at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she strengthened her expertise in academic leadership, strategic planning, and student-centered initiatives. She also served as Vice President of Mission Services at Goodwill of the Heartland, reflecting her commitment to community impact. With two decades of experience teaching developmental and social psychology, she brings a deep understanding of student needs to her leadership.
A native of California, Dr. Blake earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and her master’s and Ph.D. in social psychology from Claremont Graduate University. She remains committed to fostering academic excellence, innovation, and access, helping position Wesleyan College for continued success while expanding opportunities through strong academic and financial support.
Vice President for Student Affairs, Dean of Students

Throughout her career, Carrie has been committed to increasing student involvement and enriching campus life through engagement, service, and leadership opportunities. She also prioritizes student safety, health, and wellness, taking a holistic approach that includes partnerships supporting athletics and well-maintained, student-centered facilities.
Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trinity University (San Antonio, TX), a Master of Science in Education – Student Services Administration from Baylor University (Waco, TX), and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. She is a two-time recipient of the Barry Jenkins Award for Outstanding Contributions to Mercer Student Life and a proud member of the Leadership Macon Class of 2015.

Executive Director of Alumnae Engagement

Since joining Wesleyan College in 2025 as Executive Director of Alumnae Engagement, Katy has focused on strengthening alumnae connections and advancing institutional giving. She previously led advancement efforts at Stratford Academy and served as Operations Director at United in Pink, where her leadership resulted in increased giving, stronger community partnerships, and impactful outreach strategies.
Katy spent nearly a decade at Landry’s, Inc., leading national training and operations across brands such as the Golden Nugget and Houston Rockets. She developed onboarding programs, launched a company-wide Learning Management System, and implemented operational improvements that boosted performance and efficiency.
A Macon native, Katy holds a B.G.S. from West Texas A&M University and is actively involved in local leadership. She serves as Board Chair at Theatre Macon, Public Image Chair for the Macon Rotary Club, and is a member of Leadership Macon’s 2025 class.
Director of Human Resources

Prior to Wesleyan, Jolynn served as Director of Human Resources for C. Ross Management, where she oversaw HR operations for more than 1,500 employees across Georgia and Alabama. She specializes in talent management, recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, and data-driven strategic planning. Known for her strong interpersonal and communication skills, she partners closely with leadership teams to enhance organizational effectiveness and foster positive workplace cultures. Her experience includes leading internal investigations, managing employee grievances, and delivering training programs that ensure consistency and compliance across multiple facilities.
Earlier in her career, Jolynn held roles in manufacturing and legal environments, where she developed expertise in payroll systems, onboarding, policy development, and administrative operations. She is committed to continuous learning and professional development. She actively pursues opportunities to expand her knowledge and sharpen her expertise, including participation in advanced HR training such as that provided by the local and state SHRM chapters. Currently, she is a candidate for the SHRM-CP certification, with which her exam is scheduled – a milestone that reflects her dedication to meeting the highest standards of the profession and bringing credentialed expertise to the Wesleyan team she serves.
Athletic Director

Appointed Athletic Director in April 2023 after serving as Interim Athletic Director, Seth has spearheaded initiatives to strengthen recruitment strategies, streamline departmental operations, and foster collaboration across campus. His leadership has been instrumental in guiding Wesleyan through the NCAA-to-NAIA transition, developing a comprehensive three-year growth plan, aligning budget priorities with institutional goals, and advancing athletic facilities through strategic partnerships with the Advancement team.
Prior to his administrative roles, Seth served as Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Wesleyan College, where he elevated both the program’s competitive performance and academic success. His tenure included a successful recruitment effort that resulted in the program’s largest freshman class in five years, along with achieving a team GPA of 3.1 in his first year.

Director of the President's Office and Trustee Relations

Currently serving as Director of the President’s Office and Trustee Relations since June 2023, Jessica manages the President’s schedule, facilitates communication across campus, oversees the President’s budget, and plays a key role in coordinating board relations and meeting preparation. Prior to this role, she served as Director of Enrollment Services and Enrollment Coordinator at Wesleyan, where she led efforts in recruiting and advising transfer, online, and nursing students.
Before joining Wesleyan, Jessica was an Academic Advisor II at Georgia College & State University, advising students in nursing and public health programs and teaching First-Year Academic Seminar courses.
Jessica holds a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Education in Health Promotion, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Georgia College & State University. She is passionate about student success and has served in leadership roles including Title IX Advisor and Investigator. She also contributes to curriculum development and teaches Professional Development courses at Wesleyan as an adjunct professor.
