We’ll explore the various roots of country music, potentially get a little ‘boot scoot’ in our boogie and create our own ‘twang’ with some homemade banjos and guitars.
Habit 2---Begin with the end in mind.
We’ll investigate the poetic origins and rhyme schemes in hip hop and pop songs, learn some viral dance moves, explore drum rhythms and more!
Habit 5---Seek first to Understand.
We’ll investigate the origins of Blues and Jazz music and the emotions and moods associated with these genres. We’ll learn some old school dances and even try our hand at some harmonica making!
Habit 4---Think Win-Win
We’ll take a ‘stroll’ down memory lane as we explore various genres and ‘eras’ of music across the ages. Don’t be surprised if your child is doing the twist or the electric slide at home this week!
Habit 6---Synergize
Register in confidence knowing we conduct background checks and implement Darkness to Light training with all our camp personnel.
