Welcome!

You’ve just been admitted to the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women — and now, your Wesleyan story begins.

At Wesleyan, you’re not just earning a degree. You’re accelerating your future at a college that has been opening doors since 1836.

For nearly 200 years, Wesleyan has prepared students to grow in confidence, pursue meaningful careers, and build powerful community connections. Here, you’ll be supported as you develop into the kind of leader the world needs: in the classroom, the courtroom, the boardroom, the operating room, on the field, and everywhere women’s leadership matters.

Your Next Steps, All in One Place

Your Wesleyan journey starts before the first day of class, and we’re here to help you begin with confidence.

Use this checklist to keep track of what to complete next, what is required, when each step is due, and who can help. Each step helps us prepare for your arrival and helps you feel ready for your first semester at Wesleyan.

Please check your email regularly over the coming weeks for important updates, reminders, and instructions. That is where we’ll share the details you need to stay on track before Orientation and move-in.

Step 1: Submit Your FAFSA

Before you make your final college plans, make sure you know the full financial support available to you. Your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) helps Wesleyan prepare your financial aid award and show you the full support available to make your college education affordable.

Haven’t filed yet? Submit your FAFSA on studentaid.gov as soon as possible.

Already filed? Make sure you’ve added Wesleyan College’s school code 001600 (here’s how!) and check your WesPortal and email for any missing documents.

Due: June 1, 2026

Step 2: Ready to choose Wesleyan? Submit your enrollment deposit

Your enrollment deposit officially secures your place and scholarship (if eligible) in the incoming class and helps us begin preparing for your arrival at Wesleyan.

Once you deposit, you’ll be able to move forward with important next steps such as advising, housing, orientation, and arrival preparation. Your deposit will also be credited toward your tuition bill.

The enrollment deposit is $300 for U.S. students and $1,000 for international students. Please note that the enrollment deposit is non-refundable, so we encourage you to submit it when you feel confident that Wesleyan is the right choice for you.

Due: Before the deadline stated in your Letter of Acceptance

Need help deciding or have questions before you deposit? Connect with your personal Admissions Counselor.

Submit Your Deposit

Important: Your WesPortal login changes after you deposit

The login you used as an applicant is not the same as your official student account. After you submit your enrollment deposit, Wesleyan will create your official student account.

Once your account is ready, you will receive an email titled “Get Started at Wesleyan" with your new WesPortal login, Wesleyan email address, and instructions for accessing your account. This official login is what you will use to complete next steps such as housing, advising, health forms, and orientation registration.

Please allow up to 3 business days after depositing. If you do not receive your account email or have trouble logging in, contact admissions@wesleyancollege.edu for help.

Step 3: Secure Your Wesleyan Housing

Your Wesleyan home starts here. If you plan to live on campus, submit your Housing Contract by June 1 to receive guaranteed first choice of your on-campus housing building.

Want to find a roommate first? Start with RoomSurf, a roommate matching tool built for you. RoomSurf helps you explore compatible roommate matches before you complete your Housing Contract, so you can feel more confident about your living plans.

After you’ve explored RoomSurf, complete your Housing Contract so Residence Life can begin preparing your housing assignment.

Due: June 1 for guaranteed first choice of on-campus housing building

Next step: Complete your Housing Contract in WesPortal or review housing, RoomSurf, and commuter details below.

Your Academic Advising Questionnaire helps Wesleyan get to know your academic interests, goals, and course preferences before your first semester begins.

Once you complete it and submit your final official high school transcripts, our advising team will use your responses to help prepare for your first course schedule and make sure you are connected to the right academic support from the start.

Due: June 12

Next step: Complete your Academic Advising Questionnaire or review advising and course registration details below.

Step 5: Submit Your Health Forms

All new students must complete the required Health Forms before arriving on campus. These forms help our Health & Wellness team prepare to support you and may include immunization records, medical history information, emergency contact details, and other required documentation.

Eligible full-time undergraduate students must also complete the health insurance waiver or opt-in form by August 1. Students without an approved waiver by the deadline will automatically be billed for the student health insurance plan.

Completing this step early helps you avoid last-minute delays before orientation, move-in, or the start of classes.

Financial Aid & Affordability

Paying for college can feel complex, but you are not alone. Wesleyan’s Financial Aid and Business Office teams are here to help you and your family/supporters understand your award, review your remaining balance, explore payment options, and make a confident plan for fall.

No question is too small. If something does not make sense, please reach out. We are happy to explain, clarify, or help you and your family/supporters identify your next step.

Submit Your FAFSA

Submit your FAFSA at studentaid.gov and add Wesleyan College’s school code: 001600.

Your FAFSA helps Wesleyan prepare your official Financial Aid Award letter and identify federal, state, and institutional aid you may be eligible to receive. For many students, completing the FAFSA can open the door to thousands of dollars in additional financial support.

Already filed? Make sure Wesleyan is listed on your FAFSA, then check your WesPortal and email for any missing financial aid documents.

Priority deadline: June 1, 2026.

Understand Your Financial Aid Award

Your Financial Aid Award letter shows your estimated cost of attendance, scholarships and grants, any federal loans you have been offered, and your estimated remaining balance.

Before you finalize your college decision, we strongly encourage you and your family to review your full award and make sure you understand your aid, your costs, and any next steps.

Download our guide: Your Financial Aid Award Next Steps

Plan for Your Balance and Payment Options

Your remaining balance is the difference between your total cost and the financial aid you receive. This balance must be paid, covered by approved aid, or placed on a payment plan before the first day of classes.

You will receive a bill from Wesleyan’s Business Office later this summer. Your final bill may include additional charges such as course fees or housing adjustments, so be sure to review it carefully when it arrives.

Ways to cover your balance may include:

  • Paying by cash, check, credit card, debit card, or electronic check
  • Enrolling in Wesleyan’s interest-free Cashnet Payment Plan
  • Applying outside scholarships to your account
  • Using accepted federal loans, Parent PLUS Loans, private loans, or approved third-party funding

Fall Cashnet Payment Plan: Opens June 11. Enroll by July 7 to receive up to 5 payments. The plan is interest-free and has a $35 enrollment fee per semester.

For complete information about tuition, fees, payment plan options, billing, and related policies, please visit Wesleyan Tuition and Fees 2026-2027

Housing, Health Forms & Arrival Readiness

These steps help Wesleyan prepare for your housing, health, safety, and arrival on campus. Some items apply to every new student, while others depend on whether you plan to live on campus, commute, or waive/enroll in student health insurance. Review each section carefully and complete the required forms in WesPortal.

Complete Your Housing Contract

Wesleyan is a residential college experience. All traditional undergraduate students are required to live on campus for the duration of their enrollment unless they qualify for commuter status.

All deposit-paid students must complete the Housing Contract in WesPortal, which includes questions about your housing preferences. This includes both students who plan to live on campus and students who plan to apply for commuter status.

Planning to live on campus? Complete your Housing Contract by June 1 to receive guaranteed first choice of your on-campus housing building!

How to access it: Log in to WesPortal and complete the Housing Contract.

Find a Roommate

Wesleyan students can use RoomSurf, a roommate matching tool, to explore potential roommate matches before submitting the Housing Contract. Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to roomsurf.com.
  2. Enter Wesleyan College.
  3. Use Housing Key: Wesleyan31210
  4. Complete the roommate matching quiz.
  5. Review potential roommate matches and connect with students who may be a good fit.
  6. Once you and another student have communicated and both agreed to be roommates, each of you should list each other on your Housing Contract.

If you already completed your Housing Contract and later find a roommate, both students should email residencelife@wesleyancollege.edu to request each other.

RoomSurf can help you explore compatibility, but your roommate request is only complete once both students have agreed and included each other on their Housing Contract.

Applying for Commuter Status

Students who are part time or living within a 30-mile radius of campus may apply for commuter status.

All students, both residential and commuter, must complete the Housing Contract. If you are considering living off campus, please review Wesleyan’s Residency Policy to determine whether you are eligible.

Students who qualify for commuter status must select the commuter option within the Housing Contract.

Submit Your Required Health Forms

All official Wesleyan College health forms are required for all new students before the first day of class. These forms are mailed to each student and are also available in WesPortal in case they are lost.

Required health forms include:

  • Physical Exam Form
  • Immunization Form or immunization record with required Wesleyan vaccinations
  • Health History Form
  • Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccine Verification or Waiver
  • Tuberculosis Form

Privacy Practices are included with the health forms. Please read and keep them for your records. Signing the Health History Form confirms your receipt of the Privacy Practices.

Log in to WesPortal to complete and upload your health forms

Health Insurance Requirement

Health insurance is required for all full-time undergraduate students registered for at least 12 credit hours in the day program. This requirement does not apply to online-only students. International students should follow the international health insurance guidance provided by Wesleyan.

Each summer before the academic year begins, eligible students must complete an online health insurance waiver or opt-in form. Students who do not submit an approved waiver by the deadline will automatically be billed for the student health insurance plan. Deadline: August 1

To learn more about the Student Health Insurance Plan, the college’s insurance requirements, and how to waive or enroll, log in to WesPortal. Please follow the instructions from Wesleyan’s student insurance provider. These instructions will be sent by email to eligible students once the online insurance waiver and enrollment forms are available.

Important note: Undergraduate students must be registered for 12 credits in the Day Program to complete the online enrollment or waiver form for the insurance plan. If you plan to waive the student health insurance plan, your current insurance must be fully compliant with the Affordable Care Act and provide access to doctors in the Macon area.

For housing questions, contact the Director of Residence Life at residencelife@wesleyancollege.edu.

Academic Advising & Course Registration

After you complete your Academic Advising Questionnaire, Wesleyan’s advising team will use your responses to learn more about your academic interests, course preferences, goals, and any questions you may have before arrival. This helps us begin preparing for your first-semester schedule and connect you with the right academic support from the start.

Incoming first-year students should complete the Academic Advising Questionnaire by June 12. Login to WesPortal to complete.

Final Official Transcript

After graduation, your final official high school transcript must be sent to Wesleyan College. Your transcript should include your graduation date. Official transcripts can be sent electronically through your high school guidance office or a transcript service to: admissions@wesleyancollege.edu

Official transcripts can also be mailed to:

If you completed dual enrollment, college coursework, AP, IB, Cambridge A Level, or other college-level credit, make sure your official college transcripts or score reports are also sent to Wesleyan for review.

Online & Transfer Students

Online and transfer students do NOT need to complete the Academic Advising Questionnaire. Instead, Wesleyan will contact you directly with information about academic advising, course registration, and building your course schedule before the start of the semester.

Incoming Student Athletes: Get Cleared to Compete

We can’t wait to cheer you on as a Wesleyan student-athlete.

Before you arrive, there are a few athletics-specific steps you’ll need to complete so you can be cleared for competition. These are separate from your general enrollment steps, so please read carefully and stay connected with your coach.

Register with PlayNAIA

All incoming student-athletes must register with the NAIA Eligibility Center at PlayNAIA.org.

Please note, there is a $110 registration fee that is charged by the NAIA. After you register, please make sure to send your Eligibility Center ID to your coach.

Recommended deadline: June 1

Bring Your Sickle Cell Test Results

All student-athletes must provide official sickle cell test results.

If you were tested when you were born, you may be able to request your results from your pediatrician, doctor’s office, hospital, or lab. The results must be an official document from a doctor, hospital, or lab.
If you cannot locate your previous results, you can visit a lab to complete a new sickle cell test and bring those results with you.

Due: Bring official results when you move in.

Wait on Your Athletic Physical

You do not need to schedule or pay for a separate athletic physical this summer. All Wesleyan student-athletes will receive a free physical from our team doctors after move-in.

International Students: Your Journey to Wesleyan

Once your place is secure, the next part of your Wesleyan journey begins. Our team will help you move through your immigration documents, visa steps, travel planning, arrival in Atlanta, and transition to campus in Macon.

This section highlights the steps that are unique to international students. Be sure to also complete the general new student steps listed above, including housing, health forms, advising, and arrival preparation.

After You Deposit: Your I-20 & SEVIS I-901 fee

After you are accepted to Wesleyan College and pay your $1,000 international enrollment deposit, the Office of Admission will begin the process of issuing your Form I-20.

Important: Please watch your email carefully after depositing. Wesleyan will contact you if any additional information is needed before your I-20 can be issued. Your Form I-20 is the document you will need to pay your SEVIS I-901 fee and apply for your F-1 student visa.

After you receive your Form I-20, visit FMJfee.com to pay the required SEVIS I-901 fee. You must pay this fee and print your receipt before scheduling or attending your F-1 visa interview. Keep your SEVIS fee receipt with your important travel and visa documents.

SEVIS Transfer Students

If you currently attend a high school, college, or university in the United States, your current school must transfer your SEVIS record to Wesleyan College.

Wesleyan’s SEVIS transfer code is: ATL214F00237000

After your SEVIS record is successfully transferred, Wesleyan will mail your new I-20 form along with your official acceptance letter.

Apply for Your F-1 Student Visa

After receiving your Form I-20 and paying your SEVIS I-901 fee, apply for and schedule your F-1 student visa interview at the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your country.

To begin the process, visit the U.S. Department of State website and review the official F-1 student visa guidance.

Bring these documents to your visa interview:

  • Form I-20
  • Acceptance letter from Wesleyan College
  • Bank statements
  • Certification of finances
  • Passport
  • SEVIS fee payment receipt
  • Receipts for all other fees paid
  • Any additional documents requested by the consular officer
Travel, Arrival Dates & Airport Pick Up

Plan to arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) on August 1 or August 2 for international student move-in and airport transportation.
Wesleyan provides free airport transportation from ATL to campus in Macon. We strongly recommend booking a flight that lands before 7:00 p.m. If your flight arrives after 7:00 p.m., you may need to stay overnight at an airport hotel at your own expense, and Wesleyan staff will arrange pickup the following day.

For Parents, Families & Supporters

Families and supporters play an important role in helping students prepare for college. Whether you are helping review financial aid, talk through housing, plan travel, or simply encourage your student through the transition, we are glad you are part of this journey.

Here are a few helpful ways to support your student before arrival:

  • Encourage your student to check their email and WesPortal regularly.
  • Review financial aid, billing, and payment plan information together. Family members and supporters are welcome and encouraged to join Financial Aid Fridays one-on-one appointments.
  • Help your student gather health forms, insurance information, and final documents early.
  • Talk through housing, roommate, commuter, and move-in plans.
  • Encourage your student to attend Orientation, connect with classmates, and begin building community before arrival.
  • College is an important step toward independence. One of the best ways to support your student is to help them ask questions, contact offices, check their own email, and take ownership of their next steps — while knowing you are there to cheer them on.

We know this transition is meaningful for families, too. You are not just sending your student to college; you are entrusting her to a community. At Wesleyan, we take that trust seriously. Our tight-knit community means students are known by name, supported as individuals, and surrounded by faculty, staff, coaches, and mentors who are invested in the women they are becoming. Your student is joining a community that will challenge her, support her, and celebrate the woman she is becoming - but she will never have to walk that path alone.

Meet Your Support Team

At Wesleyan, our Admissions Counselors provide personal, one-on-one support from the moment you are admitted through your arrival on campus.

As you prepare for college, you may have questions about forms, deadlines, financial aid, housing, Orientation, WesPortal, or whether you are making the right choice. Your Admissions Counselor is here to help you take the next step — one question, one conversation, and one decision at a time.

This is what makes Wesleyan different: you are known by name, supported as an individual, and surrounded by people who are personally invested in your future.

Find your counselor below and reach out anytime.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What should I know before submitting my enrollment deposit?

Your enrollment deposit is how you officially secure your place and scholarship (if eligible) in Wesleyan College’s incoming class. It also helps Wesleyan begin preparing for your arrival, including your student account, advising, housing, orientation, and other enrollment next steps.

The enrollment deposit is due before the deadline stated on your Letter of Acceptance and is $300 for U.S. students and $1,000 for international students. Your deposit will be credited toward your tuition bill.

The deposit is non-refundable, so we encourage you to submit it when you feel confident Wesleyan is the right choice for you. If your enrollment plans change after you deposit, you will not be eligible for a refund.

However, your deposit does NOT make you financially responsible for full tuition and fees if you later decide not to attend.

If you have questions before depositing, we encourage you to contact your Admissions Counselor – we’re here to help. We are happy to support you with reviewing your financial aid, talking through your next steps, or deciding whether Wesleyan is the right fit for you and your future goals.

2. I deposited. Why can’t I access my new WesPortal account yet?

After you submit your enrollment deposit, Wesleyan will create your official student account. This account is different from the applicant login you used during the admission process.

Once your account is ready, you will receive an email titled “Get Started at Wesleyan” with your new WesPortal login, Wesleyan email address, and instructions for accessing your account.

Please allow up to 3 business days after depositing. If you do not receive your account email or have trouble logging in, contact admissions@wesleyancollege.edu.

3. Where do I complete my Housing Contract, advising questionnaire, health forms, and Orientation registration?

Most post-deposit steps are completed in WesPortal using your official student account. Log In to WesPortal to complete.

This includes:

  • Housing Contract
  • Academic Advising Questionnaire, for applicable students
  • Health Forms
  • Health insurance waiver or opt-in form, for eligible students
  • Summer Orientation Day registration

Use the official student login you receive after depositing, not your original applicant login.

4. Do all students need to complete the Academic Advising Questionnaire?

No. The Academic Advising Questionnaire applies to incoming first-year students.

Online and transfer students do not need to complete the Academic Advising Questionnaire. Wesleyan will contact online and transfer students directly with information about academic advising, course registration, and building a course schedule before the start of the semester.

For questions about advising, transfer credits, the academic calendar, or online programs, contact registrar@wesleyancollege.edu or call (478) 757-5217.

5. What happens if I miss a deadline?

Do not panic, but please act quickly.

Some deadlines are tied to important benefits or consequences. For example, completing the Housing Contract by June 1 gives residential students guaranteed first choice of their on-campus housing building.

Completing health requirements by August 1 helps you avoid move-in delays or automatic student health insurance billing.

If you miss or may miss a deadline, contact your Admissions Counselor or the office listed in that section of the page as soon as possible so we can help you understand your next step.

6. How do I find a roommate?

Wesleyan students can use RoomSurf to explore potential roommate matches before submitting the Housing Contract.

Here’s how you can use RoomSurf:

  • Go to roomsurf.com.
  • Enter Wesleyan College.
  • Use Housing Key: Wesleyan31210
  • Complete the roommate matching quiz.
  • Connect with possible matches.
  • Once you and another student both agree, list each other on your Housing Contract.

If you already completed your Housing Contract and later find a roommate, both students should email residencelife@wesleyancollege.edu to request each other.

RoomSurf can help you explore compatibility, but your roommate request is only complete once both students have agreed and included each other on their Housing Contract.

7. Do I need to attend Summer Orientation Day?

All incoming U.S. students must attend one Summer Orientation Day:

Friday, July 17, 2026
Friday, July 24, 2026

Summer Orientation Day helps you meet classmates, connect with advisors and student leaders, ask questions, and prepare for your first semester.

International students have a separate required International Orientation in August and should review the International Students section for move-in, arrival, and orientation dates.
