Welcome To Wesleyan!

Whether you are a first-year, transfer, or international student, we are looking forward to helping you start your journey at Wesleyan College. New Student Orientation programming is designed to help all new students in their transition to campus. Please see our programs below for more information about what to expect.

Students move into their room on move-in day.

Summer Orientation

Summer Orientation is a one-day program required for first year students. You will discuss your course schedule with an academic advisor, learn more about student resources available on campus, and connect with current students, faculty, and staff. While you are in your sessions, your family will be invited to attend sessions to help them get connected to our community and learn about the resources available to them.

First year students will choose to attend ONE of the following Summer Orientation sessions:
  • Friday, June 21, 2019 (Session Full)
  • Friday, July 26, 2019

Click here to RSVP for Summer Orientation. The 2019 Summer Orientation Schedule & FAQs can be downloaded here. Before you arrive for Summer Orientation, please make sure that you have completed all of the requirements listed on the Accepted Students page. If you already know that you have an extenuating circumstance that will prevent you from attending a session in person (ex. you are a first-year international student or are traveling from another state), please email orientation@wesleyancollege.edu.

New Student Move-In

Get ready to make Wesleyan your home away from home! If you plan to live on campus, make sure to submit your housing application as soon as possible to reserve your space. Residence Life will notify all new students of their housing assignment by July 15, 2019.

New student move-in will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 for first-year and transfer students. You will receive more information from Residence Life, including your specific move-in time, what to bring, and how to prepare for move-in, as we get closer to the fall.

If you are an international student, please visit the International Admissions page for more information about move-in dates, transportation to campus, registering for classes, and deadlines for documentation.

PACK Weekend

Are you ready to join the PACK? PACK Weekend is Wesleyan’s signature fall orientation program and will be held from Friday, August 16, 2019 to Sunday, August 18, 2019. During this weekend, your Orientation Leader (OL) will lead you in sessions to engage with your new classmates, get to know faculty and staff, and learn how to navigate campus and academic life.
