The equestrian center is interested in acquiring school horses for our programs. We would be glad to go over the guidelines we follow in order to take in donations. A trial period is required before committing to take in a donation.
The Care Lease Program is for owners that want to continue to own their horse but would like for the horse to have a job! This is a great opportunity for both the owner and Wesleyan's equestrian program. Your horse would be cared for as if it were our own and progress reports are provided. A trial period is required before committing to take in as a donation.
In addition to horse tack, we also take in farm equipment that is in working order. Anything that is donated will be evaluated to see if the items can be used and if not, we will sell them to raise money for the equestrian center. Since we are a non-profit institution, we can provide donation receipts for all donations.
