Scholarship Day is your chance to compete for one of Wesleyan’s prestigious, full-tuition scholarships.

AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS

Margaret Pitts Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship awarded to students who are active members of the United Methodist Church. Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement along with commitment to faith, leadership, and community service. 

Requirements: Minimum 3.0 High School GPA

Mary Know Mcneil Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship awarded to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to faith and community service. Certification of church membership from pastor and recommendation letter of support from a service agency to document community service activities are required. Preference will be given to students from the Central Savannah River Area of Georgia or students who are active members of the United Methodist Church. 

Requirements: Minimum 3.25 high school GPa

Findlay Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship awarded to academically superior first-year applicants whose intended major is in the humanities or social sciences. 

Requirements: Minimum 3.40 high school GPA

Peyton Anderson Scholarship

A full-tuition (plus room and board) scholarship for students from the Middle Georgia area who are committed to teaching in the Middle Georgia area after graduation. One-fifth of the scholarship is a loan that will be forgiven at 20 percent a year for five years as the recipient teaches within Middle Georgia. 

Requirements: Minimum 3.6 high school GPA, commitment to teach in middle Georgia for FIVE (5) years

Munroe Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship awarded to applicants majoring in Applied Chemistry, Applied Data Analysis, Applied Mathematical Science, Biology, or Neuroscience. Recipients are eligible for research stipends of up to $1,000 during their junior and senior years. 

Requirements: minimum 3.75 high school GPA

Reach Scholarship

A scholarship awarding up to the direct cost of attendance (tuition, room & board, and fees) to applicants majoring in Applied Mathematics, Biology, or Neuroscience. 

Requirements: Minimum 3.30 core GPA and 3.30 STEM GPA, Enrolled in one or more STEM courses their senior year, demonstrates financial need

Corn Scholarship

A full-tuition (plus room and board) scholarship for students who demonstrate a commitment to service and exemplify leadership, character, and personal achievement characteristics. Must be a graduate from a high school in Columbus, GA, or the greater Chattahoochee area. Preference for students involved in Girls Inc., or a student of the Brookstone School in Columbus, GA, or The Heritage School in Newnan, GA. 

Requirements: Minimum high school GPA of 3.20 or 3.00 for Girls Inc participant 

Lane Scholarship

A full tuition scholarship is awarded to academically superior first-year applicants whose intended major is in the area of fine arts. Eligible candidates in studio art must submit a portfolio for review and eligible candidates in music must audition.

Requirements: minimum 3.0 high school GPa 

Nursing Excellence

A $10,000 scholarship awarded to superior first year applicants intending to major in Nursing. The scholarship award is in addition to any merit scholarship.

Requirements: Minimum 3.30 core GPA and 3.30 STEM GPA, Enrolled in one or more STEM courses their senior year, demonstrates financial need

Wesleyan Scholars

The Wesleyan Scholars award is given to students who demonstrate leadership and seek to thrive in an environment that empowers women. Scholarship amounts are based on academic ability and interview with the scholarship committee. Recipients will be required to live on campus. 

Calendar of Events

Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1-5PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10AM-2PM.

NCAA Division III Athletics

Wesleyan College is home to five NCAA Division III sports: soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and softball. In addition, we offer an award-winning Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equestrian program.
