An integral part of Wesleyan College's current Strategic Plan is the creation of ways for students, faculty, and staff to support sustainability initiatives. Sustainability is intentionally integrated into curricular and co-curricular teaching and learning.
The Environmental Concerns Committee involves the campus in two environmentally conscience events each semester. Such events involve campus clean-up and helping the Arboretum committee in a campus-wide effort to clean up the Arboretum trails.
Accredited by the Morton Registry of Arboreta in 2013, the arboretum comprises 100 acres of mixed pine and hardwood forest and lies within the boundaries of Wesleyan’s suburban Rivoli campus.

Award winning recycling program ranked 188th in the country for waste minimization, 28th for paper recycling, 64th for bottles and cans and 71st for corrugated cardboard.
Eco-themed residential housing established to allow students to practice hands-on sustainability.
Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1:30 – 5:00 PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
