Whether you’re a recent graduate or a long-time alumna, we’re pleased to welcome you back home to Wesleyan.
Wesleyan College Alumnae Association (WCAA)
Wesleyan's first class graduated in 1840, four years after the College was chartered. Just as the College was the world's first to grant a baccalaureate degree to a woman, the Alumnae Association, organized on July 11, 1859, was the world's first alumnae association. All former Wesleyan students who have earned thirty or more semester hours at the College -- whether or not they have graduated -- are considered members of the Association and Wesleyan alumnae.
Today, the Association is administered by the Alumnae Office Directors and governed by the Board of Managers. Through the publication of the Wesleyan Magazine and through various mailings, the 9,000 alumnae are kept informed of the activities and goals of the College. Alumnae clubs are present and active throughout the United States.
