Jessica '18 is an English and chemistry double major on the pre-pharmaceutical track who is the first of her family to attend college. She is working towards a career in pharmaceuticals and feels that Wesleyan has truly prepared her for life after graduation.

Kelley spent her summer at the Vanderbilt Summer Science Academy’s Promoting Academic Excellence with Community Engagement and Reach Multicultural Scholars (PAECERS) program.

Brandon worked as a summer camp unit lead with the Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia where she managed counselors, supervised campers, and ensured that daily camp activities went smoothly for her team. 

Imagine transporting a battery-operated microscope, human tissue specimens, and a variety of water samples through several airports, a range of vehicles, and finally into the foothills of the Himalayas.

Associate Professor of Music Michael McGhee produced a CD of solo organ music, Tapestry, recorded in Wesleyan’s Porter Auditorium on the College’s historic Aeolian organ. Featured on the national broadcast of the Pipedreams, airing on about 145 NPR stations across the country.  

Professor Ferrari was presented the Earle R. Greene Memorial Award for achievement in ornithology and bird education from the Georgia Ornithological Society (GOS). He has served as President of GOS (2011-13) and is the current editor of the Oriole.

After graduating from Wesleyan with a degree in political science, Adrianne attended the University of Cambridge in England where she earned her certification to teach English to speakers of other languages.

As a leadership coach, change agent, radio talk show host, and renowned speaker, Heather says she has come to realize that change does not happen on global levels. Change happens one person at a time. After graduating from Wesleyan with a degree in business administration and management, Heather earned her master’s degree in business administration from Mercer University. Last year she completed the Advancing Women in Leadership Assessment Certificate.

Tara Reigel ’19 says she was able to keep up with the demands of her triple major because she is driven by her love of knowledge and possesses great time management skills. “I love accounting because I love organizing information and working with numbers. It’s like solving a puzzle and my brain works in a way that makes the process really enjoyable.”
