Degrees and Programs

Choose between 3 different degree programs: bachelor of arts, bachelor of fine arts, or bachelor of science in nursing, with a total of 24 majors and 36 minors.

Jessica Austell

Jessica '18 is an English and chemistry double major on the pre-pharmaceutical track who is the first of her family to attend college. She is working towards a career in pharmaceuticals and feels that Wesleyan has truly prepared her for life after graduation.

FATIMA KHAN

Fatima graduated in 2017 with majors in international relations and biology. While taking time off before heading to graduate school she has worked with several non-profit organizations in the fields of human rights and community organizing. Fatima also interned for six months with the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Michael McGhee

Associate Professor of Music Michael McGhee produced a CD of solo organ music, Tapestry, recorded in Wesleyan’s Porter Auditorium on the College’s historic Aeolian organ. Featured on the national broadcast of the Pipedreams, airing on about 145 NPR stations across the country.

Nursing Program Director Fritz and nursing faculty annually take a group of senior nursing students to Jamaica for a week-long medical mission trip. The group visits and assists patients at hospitals and at children’s homes. Students describe the experience as “life changing.”

MISSY WARD ANGALLA ’09

After earning her graduate degree from McAfee School of Theology in 2013, Missy moved to Uganda to serve as advocacy coordinator with Refuge and Hope International where she provides shelter, education, and counseling to refugee women in violent situations.
