Class Summary

Abs & Stretching  Abdominal class focusing on stabilization and strength of the torso, obliques, lower and upper back. (Glenda Wagoner, Cycle Reebok, Les Mills, RIPPED)

Barre None  Combines Pilates, Yoga and ballet moves for lean, sculpted muscles. (Sydney King, NETA Group, Barre, Fitour PT)

Cycle  Interval based training brings the outdoor ride inside with hills, sprints and mountains. RIP Barbell

Yoga & Meditation  Explore classical yoga disciplines, meditation, movement, and breathing practices from various traditions as vehicles for deepening our realization, ease, and joy. All levels. (Tera Edwards, 200RYT)

Flow Yoga  Combine breath and mindful movement through a series of both challenging and restorative postures (asanas). Appropriate for all levels. (Tera Edwards, 200RYT)

Hatha Yoga  Provides a calm and relaxing space to let go of tension, focus on the breath (pranayama), and enjoy complete stretching and strengthening of the entire body through long pose holds. (Jessica Hardman, BFA Dance, aerial yoga, SilverSneakers) 

Yoga Stretch  A blend of traditional yoga poses and sequences with basic stretching to strengthen and lengthen the body in a relaxing environment. (Jessica Hardman, BFA Dance, aerial yoga, SilverSneakers) 

Restorative Yoga  Gentle yoga sequences and poses designed to stretch and rejuvenate the body, as well as restore and relax the mind. (Jessica Hardman, BFA Dance, aerial yoga, SilverSneakers))

Tai Chi  Often called moving meditation; Tai Chi consists of fluid, graceful, standing movements. Improves balance, strength and flexibility. Additional Fees apply to H2U classes (Lisa Pang, Zephyr Tai Chi Association)

Qigong  A mind-body-spirit practice that improves one's mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing technique, self-massage, sound, and focused intent. Class meets during academic year only. (Ernst Takacs)

Zumba  Interval-style, calorie- burning, dance fitness party. Cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. 60 minutes. Wesleyan Student $1.00 with ID, Faculty and Staff $3.00, Guest $6.00.
