Transfer Students






In order to be accepted into our International Exchange Program all international students must be recommended by the home institution. Wesleyan's Admissions Office is eager to help and make this process as simple as possible. STEP 1: Apply

STEP 2: Submit Documents
  • Transcripts - Official transcripts may be sent electronically through email from the institution's delivery server at or mailed directly to Wesleyan using the address below.
  • High School Transcripts: In English and adapted to the 4.0 American grade scale.
  • College Transcript/s: College Transcripts Evaluation just for students coming from outside the U.S. An official copy of the college/university transcripts translated into English, along with a course-by-course credit evaluation from a professional evaluation agency indicating credit hours and grades converted to the semester system of higher education in the United States. The following agencies are approved by Wesleyan College: Josef Silny and Associates and World Education Services –
  • College Transcript/s: An official copy of the college/university transcripts, for insidethe U.S. students.  
  • TOEFL 80 (Internet based) or IELTS 6.0 with minimum sub-scores of 5.5.
    • If English is your native language we will waive this requirement
  • SAT or ACT: Wesleyan’s identification codes are: SAT 5895; ACT 0876.
    • Waived if you have 24 or more college credits.
    • Waived if you have fewer than 24 college credits but if you have been out of High School for three years. If not, you must provide these scores.
STEP 3: Secure Your Spot

Once accepted, secure your spot in the class by submitting the $300 Housing Deposit. The deposit is non-refundable after May 1. You may deposit here.

Room and board price includes a 20-meal plan for all residence halls. Health Insurance cost may be subject to change. 


International students are considered for merit scholarships, based on their GPA, test scores, and other academic achievements. The scholarships are offered per year from $8,000 to $12,000.

How can I apply for merit scholarship? 

When you complete your online application as International First Year Student; you are applying for scholarships at the same time. You do not need to complete a second application.

Wesleyan offers competition in five NCAA Division III sports: basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. Our award-winning equestrians compete in IHSA events.
