To be considered for admission, you must submit an online application to Wesleyan College via The Common App or Wesleyan’s Application Portal. The online application will indicate the documents that are needed based on your individual situation, but a list of typical application requirements is listed below:
English Language Proficiency testing may be required for some applicants, but not all. For applicants who have been studying in an internationally recognized English language curriculum (examples include U.S. Curriculum High School, International Baccalaureate (IB), British Curricula/A-Level/AS-Level/IGCSE, CBSE/ISC), an English Language Proficiency test is not required. You can see which curricula require English Language Proficiency testing in the “Admission Requirements by Curriculum” section below. Applicants who are required to submit English Language Proficiency testing or whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate English proficiency can do so by submitting any of the following official rest results and scores:
TOEFL IBT with a minimum score of 80 (Internet-based); 213 (Computer base) or 550 (Paper base). Wesleyan's identification code for the TOEFL 5895
IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 overall or 5.5 sub-scores.
GTEC CBT with a minimum score of 1190 (Internet based)
Duolingo English Test with a minimum score of 105
PTE Academic with a minimum score of 58
Standardized Test Scores (Optional) Wesleyan is a test-optional institutional, meaning you are not required to submit any standardized test scores as part of your application. The optional requirement for standardized test scores will however be required if a student does not meet GPA requirements. If you would like to submit SAT or ACT test results to Wesleyan, you can arrange for a formal report of all test results to be sent to Wesleyan by the testing agency. Wesleyan’s identification codes are: SAT 5895; ACT 0876.
English translations of all application supporting documents can be sent to admissions@wesleyancollege.edu.
Once accepted, secure your spot in the class by submitting the admission deposit. International students will submit a $1,000 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable after May 1. You may deposit here.

International students are considered for International Entrance Scholarship based on their GPA, test scores, and other academic achievements. The scholarships are offered per year from $5,000-$15,000 through a comprehensive and holistic review.
When you complete your online application as International First Year Student; you are applying for scholarships at the same time. Therefore, you do not need to complete a second application.
