Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Ivy began her foundation in women’s education in high school at Incarnate Word Academy. She then matriculated to Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Her passion for aiding students with college advising and career readiness began through her career as a Career Advisor and Job Developer. In those positions she assisted clients with interview preparations, resume and cover letter writing, job search skills, and professional development. A strong advocate for the advancement of women through educational opportunities, Ivy entered the field of Higher Education by earning her Master of Education in Adult & Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and working as an Academic Advisor. She comes to Wesleyan to assist in the college’s efforts to prepare students for their professional future.
Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1-5PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10AM-2PM.
