A lyric soprano, Ellen teaches applied voice, voice class, vocal literature, diction, and opera workshop. She is in demand as an oratorio soloist, most recently Haydn's "Nelson Mass", Handel's "Messiah", and Mozart's "Coronation Mass".
Ellen has performed many major roles in musical theatre and opera with Macon Little Theatre, UT Opera Theatre, and the Knoxville Opera Company, including Eliza in "My Fair Lady", and Rosa in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood".
She is a member of NATS, MENC, GMEA and SAI. She loves working with singers of all levels, especially beginning singers. Ellen is married, has two children and an Australian Shepherd dog.
Her hobbies include tennis, golf, and antiquing.
