Wortham Hall, an extension of Persons Hall, is a suite style facility that houses first year residents. With study sessions and targeted programming efforts between Wortham and Banks Halls, the residents quickly become a close knit class. Wortham Hall was renovated in 1998 as a suite - style residence hall from its original community bath layout.
Wortham includes 46 rooms that can house 82 students comfortably. Every room is wired for high-speed internet access and cable service. Wireless is available throughout the building. There is a printer located on each floor for student use.

Wortham Hall is named in memory of Nettie Dunlap Wortham, Class of 1875. Mrs. Wortham, who was a trustee at the time of her death in 1939, left half of her large estate to Wesleyan’s endowment in memorial to her husband, Henry M. Wortham.
