Planned Giving

Preparing for Wesleyan’s Future and Yours

There’s no more thoughtful investment in Wesleyan’s future than a planned gift. Planned gifts aid students through scholarships, give a boost to our Annual Fund, and even construct campus buildings. What would you like your planned gift to do?

The purpose of planned giving is twofold – to benefit your family’s future while also leaving a legacy to Wesleyan. Our staff will work with you and your financial advisors to satisfy your charitable interests while keeping in mind your family’s financial future. Won’t you consider joining the hundreds of donors who have established a planned gift at Wesleyan?

Our planned giving donors, known as the Society for the Twenty-first Century, are committing to support Wesleyan in numerous ways. Some are naming Wesleyan in their will, either through an outright bequest or designating the remainder of their estate to the College after meeting their family’s needs. Others are naming Wesleyan the beneficiary of their life insurance policy. Still others have charitable remainder trusts which can provide income to donors and their spouses during their lifetimes. Whatever your choice and needs may be, Wesleyan’s staff would love to speak with you about joining the Society for the Twenty-first Century.

To talk with someone about leaving a legacy to Wesleyan and to join the Society for the Twenty-first Century, please call the Office of Institutional Advancement at (478) 757-5187.
