Center for the Arts Academy Summer Intensive
Sunday, June 8 - Saturday, June 14, 2014


A week-long fine arts immersion program for rising high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduating seniors on the campus of Wesleyan College. Have fun, explore multiple areas of interest and experience college life. The program is designed specifically for high school students to study, create and perform in studio art, music, or theatre. In addition to advanced study of the arts, you’ll experience life at the world’s oldest college for women and learn from our world-class faculty. Attend as a resident student while living in the dorms and eating in Anderson Dining Hall, or experience college life as a commuter.

Morning class choices include:
applied lessons in voice or piano, Musical Stories, Water Color Painting en Plein Air or Printmaking, and Stone Carving.

Afternoon class choices include:
Theatre Monologue/Audition Workshop, Illustration, Wheel Throwing, Choral Ensemble and Theatre Combat.
