Wesleyan’s Alumnae Association Board of Managers and Wesleyan’s Admission Office work together planning this exciting overnight event for alumnae and prospective students. Bring a prospective student to see our campus and experience STUNT!
If you’ve ever wanted to show off the college you love so much, now’s your chance! Bring your daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece, or neighbor to Wesleyan and introduce her to the traditions that make our Wesleyan experience unique: songs of sisterhood, class competition, STUNT, and more! Register now for Welcome to Wesleyan Weekend - a fun-filled special event. You and your guest will stay in Jones Residence hall (based on room availability) on STUNT night. Enjoy lots of Wesleyan hospitality and a full schedule of activities, including a campus tour.
Gear up for a wonderful Wesleyan weekend filled with sisterhood and fun campus activities! An agenda of exciting, informative events (and a little free time) will keep you busy all afternoon on Saturday. Enjoy a casual dinner, then shout your class colors at a pep rallyby the fountain, before heading to Porter Auditorium for the 117th Annual STUNT. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Top off the evening at an After Party in the Jones Hall lounge. Sunday morning, breakfast will be served in Burden Parlor, followed by a panel discussion about Faith On Campus. Members of the Wesleyan Admission Staff will be on-hand during your visit to answer questions about scholarships, academic studies, resident life and leadership opportunities.
Q&A: We knew you would ask a few questions, so go ahead...we have the answers!
May I bring more than one student? Of course you may! Feel free to bring as many as you like.
I’m not going to sleep on a dorm-room floor, am I? Not unless you want to. You and your guest(s) will room together in Jones Residence Hall (based on availability, so make your reservation quickly), two beds per room. You may also stay in a nearby hotel. Please contact Amanda Hayward-Giles for more information.
This can’t be free, can it? Well, in a word, “no”… but it’s as close to “free” as we could get. A registration fee of $30 per person (8th grade and older, $25 per person 7th grade and younger) will cover all expenses for the weekend, including bed and bath linen and meals.
What do I wear? Pack a suitcase filled with your class color because we want to show our prospective students what sisterhood is all about. All activities are casual. And bring comfortable shoes because we will walk all over campus.
Please RSVP by February 8th. Click here to download an application. For more information or to reply by phone, contact Amanda Hayward Giles in the Admission Office 1-800-447-6610, 478-757-5139, or email: ahayward@wesleyancollege.edu. A check will complete your registration. We will send you a confirmation packet with more details about the weekend when we receive your registration information.
