11:30am    Early registration for the Class of 1967 and classes before 1967. Foyer, Candler Alumnae Center. Enjoy Lemonade on the Lawn in front of Candler.

12:30pm   Luncheon honoring the Class of 1967 and classes before 1967. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center. 

1:30-2:20pm   Back to College. Abnormal Psychology: Neurological Disorders (Delirium & Dementia). Shelly Martin, Ph.D. Taylor Hall, Room 127. Transportation available to Taylor.                         

2-5:30pm  Registration. Foyer, Candler Alumnae Center.

2:30-3:30pm Sister Strong. A Conversation with President Ruth Knox ’75. Pierce Chapel. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center.                         

2:30-5pm Willet Library Open House. Join Library Director Kristi Peavy and College Archivist Virginia Blake for a tour of the newly renovated first floor of the Library. 

   Pierce Chapel Tour. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center. 

   Nursing Lab Tour. Visit with nursing staff in Munroe Science Center, 2nd Floor.      

6pm  Celebration Concert. Music faculty, students including The Wesleyannes, and reunion class alumnae perform live on stage. Porter Family Memorial Auditorium.  

7:15-8:30pm “Knox Rocks” Presidents’ Reception. Ticket required. Hosted by Alumnae Association President Melanie Filson Lewis ’93 and Past Presidents of the WCAA in honor of President Ruth Knox ’75. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center. 

8:30pm    Scheduled Reunion Class Parties.



8-9:15am    Strawberry Breakfast. Ticket required. All classes, Conservatory and College. Burden Parlor and Mount Vernon Porch, Olive Swann Porter Building. 

9-11am   Late Registration. Limited seating available for food events. The Loggia.

9:30-10:30am    Reunion Class Meetings.  Assigned areas. NON-REUNION class alumnae meet in Hurdle Café and OSP Lobby, Olive Swann Porter Building. 

10am    Seniors and Candlelighters Assemble. Benson Room, Candler Alumnae Center. 

10:45am   Alumnae assemble for Parade of Classes. NON-REUNION classes are welcome to line up behind reunion classes and join the Parade. Tate Quadrangle.

11am   Wesleyan College Alumnae Association Annual Meeting. Porter Auditorium.

1pm   Sisterhood Luncheon. Ticket required. Anderson Dining Hall. 

1pm   RAK Lunch Around the Fountain for classes 2003-2017. Ticket required.  Enjoy food catered by your favorite local vendors. Rain location: Trice A & B.

2:15-4pm   Nursing Lab Open House. Visit with nursing staff in Munroe Science Center and tour the facilities. Transportation available from Candler Alumnae Center. 

2:15-5pm   Welcome to Willet Library. Guided tour of the newly renovated first floor of the Library with Library Director Kristi Peavy and College Archivist Virginia Blake.

2:15-5pm   Trolley Tours of Campus. Depart from Candler Alumnae Center. Tours leave at 2:15 and 3:30pm. Guided by Wesleyan students. 

2:15-5pm   Self-Guided Campus Tour. Visit campus sites at your leisure. Maps in tote bags.   

2:30-6pm   GH 1967 (50th Reunion) Art Exhibit. Visit with GHs and view artwork that celebrates their 50th reunion. Oval Hall, Candler Alumnae Center. Exhibit Co-Chairs: Ann Zimmerman Elliott and Dot Ogden Brown.

3-4pm    Springtime in the Arboretum. Visit Anderson Cabin and explore nature trails with Arboretum Director Jim Ferrari, Ph.D. See the natural playground, Wesleyan’s giant tulip tree, and learn about the many birds, trees, and flowers that call the Arboretum home. Bring your walking shoes! Depart from Mathews Athletic Center. Locker rooms open. Shuttle available from Loggia to Mathews. 

4:30pm   Alumnae/Student Soccer Game: It’s a Tradition! Use locker rooms in Mathews Athletic Center. Shuttle available from Loggia to Mathews. 

5:30pm    Black Student Alliance Reunion. Ticket required. For BSA alumnae. Enjoy fun and food with sisters! 2nd Floor Terrace, Munroe Science Center. For more information: (478) 757-5173. 

6:30-8pm   Magnolia Barbecue at The Fountain. Ticket required. Show your Wesleyan colors, visit with current and former faculty, and enjoy food, fun, and entertainment. Rain location: Anderson Dining Hall. 

7:30 -9:30pm   RAK Party for classes 2003-2017. Ticket required. By invitation only. Jones Hall, Back Porch.  Last call to party with President Knox.

8pm   Scheduled Reunion Class Parties.


8am   Continental Breakfast. Ticket required. Corn Center (Ground Floor), Pierce Chapel. 

9am   Morning Watch. Worship service for all classes. Led by the Class of 1967. Pierce Chapel.


Additional Events and Information

Alumnae Marketplace on the Loggia. Enjoy shopping for special gifts from alumnae vendors. 

Sales benefit the College. Friday, 2-4pm and Saturday, 2-5pm. Rain location: Olive Swann Porter Lobby.

Art Exhibits. Cowles Myles Collier East & West Galleries, Porter Family Memorial Auditorium. Open Friday, 1-5pm and Saturday, 2-5pm. West Gallery: For Love of the Sea by Southern Maritime Artist Cowles Myles Collier. East Gallery: Wesleyan Art Department Senior Show. McCrary Gallery, Art Building: Sophomore Review and Simmons Awards.

“Early Bird” Back to College. Friday. Come early to “sit in” on real time classes with students: Women’s Issues in Contemporary Art (9-9:50am, Murphey Art Building 104, Libby Bailey, Ph.D.); Survey of US Literature: Discussion of The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Gilman (9-9:50am, Taylor 221, Matt Martin, Ph.D.); and Abnormal Psychology (10-10:50am, Taylor 127, Shelly Martin, Ph.D.).

Bookstore Hours: Friday, 10am-5pm and Saturday, 10am-6pm (Closed from 12-1pm).

Reception for Benson and Society Members. By invitation only. Saturday, 5:30pm in Burden Parlor. President Ruth Knox will toast alumnae who have given $1,000 or more to Wesleyan during this fiscal year and/or have included Wesleyan in their estate plans. Questions? Time Out for Hangin’ Out. Under the Tents. Look for your class mascot tent. Meet in between reunion events with GKs, PKs, Pirates, and GHs from all classes. #ShowYourWesleyanColors!

Visit the Confucius Institute and Chinese Art Gallery. Friday, 1-5pm and Saturday, 10:30am-4pm. Ground floor, Willet Memorial Library. The Institute fosters academic and cultural exchange and the historic connection between Wesleyan and China.

Weekend Workout. Use Mathews Athletic Center facilities. Locker rooms available. Friday, 7am-9pm & Saturday, 9am-6pm.

Yoga for All Levels, including Beginners. Karen Moore Thomson, Ph.D. (Class of ’67), RYT 200, Yoga Teacher for 43 years. Friday, 8-9am and Saturday 3:45-4:45pm, Mathews Athletic Center. Locker rooms available. Bring your mat or towel, or borrow one from the instructor.

Just for Guests. Friends of alumnae and visiting guests are invited to: Discovering China and the Confucius Institute at Wesleyan College (CIWC). Presented by CIWC Co-Director Dr. Jaing “Isadora” Xiaoping and Jamila Xu. Saturday, 9:30-10:30am. Confucius Institute, Ground Floor, Willet Memorial Library.

Guest Lounge. Located in Hurdle Café, Olive Swann Porter Building. Enjoy comfy chairs, coffee, tea, and TV.
