Business Management Certificate

Wesleyan College offers a certificate program in business management which provides the basic courses necessary for entry-level employment and management training. This certificate can be earned in less than one year by taking classes through the Encore Day or Evening Programs. Students completing the required eight courses with a grade of “C” or better not only earn this certificate but also earn 24 hours of college credit towards their bachelor’s degree.

Courses included in the certificate program are:

ACC 201 Financial Accounting (3hrs)
BUS 303 Principles of Marketing (3hrs)
BUS 310 Business Law (3hrs)
BUS 318 Human Resources Management (3hrs)
ECO 102 Issues in Macroeconomics (3hrs) OR
ECO 104 Issues in Microeconomics (3hrs)
ECO 205 Principles of Finance (3hrs)

Choose 6 hours from the following:

BUS 105 Contemporary Business (3hrs) OR
BUS 106 Business and Society (3hrs)
BUS 315 Principles of Management (3hrs)
CIS 128 Computer Applications (3hrs)
ECO 220 Statistical Methods (3hrs)
