Steve is responsible for the overall strategic direction of Admission and Financial Aid. In addition, Steve develops recruitment strategies,philosophies, and approaches aimed at prospective students and parents. Director of Admission
As Director of Admission, Leslie is responsible for the management of the admission counselors, publications, promotions, marketing, accounting, and online recruitment. Leslie evaluates admission files, makes scholarship recommendations, and works individually with each accepted student's family throughout the admission process. Pam Huber

Nontraditional Admission Counselor
Pam is your admission counselor if you have been out of high school for more than three years and are interested in pursuing an undergraduate degree at Wesleyan College through our Evening Program or Encore Day Program. These programs welcome adult learners –both full time and part time –who are either beginning their college education or would like to transfer credits to Wesleyan and complete their degree here. Director of Financial Aid
Danielle works with applicants and current students to determine the best financial aid package for each individual. She reviews all financial aid packages and endowed scholarship awards. Retention and Student Advocacy Coordinator
Karen works to support nontraditional students after enrollment. Karen received her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan College through our nontraditional program. Lindsey Culpepper
Admission Counselor
Lindsey is our United Methodist Church liaison. Contact her for information about scholarships, recruitment, and outreach opportunities available specifically for members of the Methodist faith. Lindsey works with Student Affairs, W.A.V.E., assists with events, and works with students who have submitted an application. Gabriel Wagner
Admission Counselor
Gabriel is the person to contact if you are an active member of HOSA, DECA, or FBLA. He travels primarily in the Northeast region of the U.S. and conducts workshops on the Wesleyan College admission process, SAT and ACT tests, scholarships and financial aid, as well as how to decide on a major or minor. Tracy Tilley '89
Admission Counselor
Tracy Ward Tilley, a Red Pirate from the Class of 1989, is your first point of contact if you live in North Carolina. She also recruits alumnae to assist the Admission Office with college fairs, yield parties, and contacting prospective students. And be fair warned … when YOU become a Wesleyan alumna, she will call on you to help recruit students too! Tracy also coordinates our Wesleyan First Book Awards, which awards high school sophomore girls a $500 scholarship when they apply and are accepted to Wesleyan. Susan Hagemeyer
Director of Applicant Records
Susan maintains records for traditional-aged and transfer applicants to Wesleyan. She processes applications, school transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation for candidates, and prepares the student's admission folder for review. Susan supervises the mail flow and communication stream to students who have applied, been accepted, and paid their enrollment deposits. Mary Ann is the person to contact if you are interested in scheduling an individual visit to our campus and/or a campus tour (see the visit page on our website for more information about your visiting options). Mary Ann also assists with events and processing files. In addition, she collects, imports, and maintains data records of our operating systems. Senior Financial Aid Counselor
Lindsey works with current traditional students to package their financial aid and ensure timely completion of annual financial aid applications. She is our state aid officer and manager of Satisfactory Academic Progress for federal and state aid. Lindsey is the primary contact for all returning traditional students. Daniel is the first face seen in the Financial Aid Office. Daniel manages the front office and all incoming paperwork, and he is the manager of our work study program. Debt Management Counselor
Carrie works with all students on budget planning, money management, and Perkins and Institutional Loan Requests. She coordinates the Financial Literacy Program, counsels students on the loan repayment process and options, and she manages outreach to borrowers in repayment to avoid delinquency and default.
