Classrooms

Strickland & CIS Rooms

The Strickland (Rm. 107) and CIS (Rm. 122) Rooms are on the first floor of the Library. Both rooms house modern smart classrooms and computer projection units. The Strickland Room also houses several laptop computers (plus ports for several more). The CIS Room, our newest room, has 20 computers built into the desks. Regular course meetings may be scheduled in these rooms. When not reserved for class, students may use the Strickland Room to work on group collaborative projects. To reserve one of the classrooms, please contact the library at (478) 757-5200.

Library Room Keys
The following Library rooms/cabinets have keys which must be signed out by users: Strickland Room, CIS Room, Notebook Computer Cabinet (in Strickland Room). These keys have various user restrictions depending on the room/cabinet. Please ask at the Circulation Desk for more information about Library room access.

Six single or double occupancy study rooms are available on the first and third floors on a first-come- first-serve basis. Room 305 is available for a larger study group that needs a white board or Smartboard. The key to Room 305 may be signed out by a librarian at the Circulation Desk.

Individual study carrels may be reserved for student use during the semester. Ask at the front Circulation Desk for a reservation form.
