Institutional Research

Mission Statement:
The office of Institution Research of Wesleyan College supports the achievement of college goals by providing centralized management and interpretation of institutionally related data in order to support strategic planning, data driven decision making and institutional planning by the college. This is done by collecting and disseminating reliable institutional data in a timely, responsive and ethical manner.

Services:

• Providing the college with data relevant to academics
• Supporting college programs with data collection, analysis and reporting research to meet their informational needs
• Coordinating institutional research and reporting to external agencies
• Measuring programmatic outcomes
• Support the annual outcomes assessment for the college.
  

Note: In all of its activities, the office will ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and the anonymity of individuals. The office will also ensure that information is released only to appropriate individuals and in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
