What more could a woman want?

Stables and a riding ring, state-of-the-art fitness center, luxury residential suites, and a liberal arts education. What more could a woman want?
Two hundred acres holds a lot of activity. It kind of has to. You see, Wesleyan women aren’t the types to keep their noses buried in books from morning to night. Sure, we study – and study hard – but we also like to play.
Life outside the classroom is a pretty big component of happy college days. You might try out for any of our six varsity teams or join one of our clubs or organizations. With 13 academic honor societies and more than 26 clubs and musical groups, Wesleyan has never believed that nonsense about the pace of life in the South being slow. At Wesleyan, life is anything but!
And there’s so much more – class pep rallies, STUNT (skits written and performed by the students to raise money for scholarships), class color wars, and even homecoming. (Yes, we can do everything a coed school can!)
We could go on and on about our traditions. We could tell you about the candlelighting ceremony in which seniors are inducted into our Alumnae Association. Or the Marker Ceremony for seniors . . . Well, the list goes on. But we’ll save the rest for when you come and visit.

Class themes are a great tradition at Wesleyan. Depending on your year, you could be a Green Knight, Pirate, Purple Knight, or Golden Heart. |
