Council on Religious Concerns
The Council on Religious Concerns (CRC) has a wide variety of responsibilities, from directing community service projects to planning campus religious services. Members of CRC are elected by their peers in the spring semester for the following academic year; first-year students are elected in the fall semester. CRC sponsors speakers, musical groups, and performers on campus, some of which are featured during the Month on Religious Emphasis (MORE), a special time for spiritual challenge. CRC coordinates an ecumenical service and reception and special weekend services. In addition to these fore mentioned events, CRC also sponsors STUNT, one of Wesleyan's treasured traditions. STUNT is a competition amongst classes, in which each class creates an original musical comedy to perform in front of classmates, family, friends and community members. Proceeds from STUNT contribute to scholarships benefiting deserving rising seniors. CRC meets every Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Senate Room. For more information, contact the CRC President, Stephanie Hood.
