FEBRUARY 2012
February 1 Deadline to file application for diploma for students completing degree requirements in August 2012.
February 1 Last day for removal of “I” grades from Fall semester.
February 2 Deadline to notify Registrar of official name change (marriage, divorce, etc.) for
diploma for students completing degree requirements in May.

ALL GRADUATES - Cap, Gown, and Hood can be purchased through the Campus Store during regular Store hours.
MARCH 2012
March 2 Mid-semester date
March 2 Deadline for ALL GRADUATES to choose a Hooder.

March 5-9 Spring Break.
March 12 Classes resume.
March 12 Deadline for Candlelighting Participation Forms.

March 30 Last day to withdraw from a class to receive a grade of “W.” You must withdraw through the Office of Records and Registration, Tate 120. Students who stop attending class and do not withdraw by the deadline receive a grade of “F.” (Refer to the College catalogue.)

April 20 – 22 Alumnae Weekend 2012 and Candlelighting Ceremony Seniors and Alumnae Candlelighters meeting in Benson Room at 10:20 a.m. on April 21 for procession to Porter Auditorium. - Commencement Dress Rehearsal – 1:30 p.m., Porter Auditorium ALL GRADUATES – Undergraduates AND Hooders, *Bring your cap, gown, & hood! Senior Class of 2012 group portraits taken after rehearsal.
- Marker Ceremony – 6:15 p.m., Main Post Office Downtown – ALL GRADUATES invited to participate. Contact Rev. Bill Hurdle, 757-4023 for information.

MAY 5: GRADUATION 2012

9AM Porter Auditorium doors will be open for guests with tickets. Commencement
tickets are limited.
9:15AM - 9:45AM ALL GRADUATES & Hooders line up in the lower level of O.S.
Building. Junior Marshals will direct you. (In case of rain, line-up will be in stairwells of Porter Auditorium.)
9:45AM EVERYONE MUST BE IN PLACE! Procession begins! All available seats will be open to the public.
10AM Commencement Exercises – Porter Auditorium
