Faculty Positions

Accounting Instructor
Wesleyan College invites applications for an accounting position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor beginning August 2010. Applicants from all areas of accounting are encouraged to apply; however, preference will be given to candidates with professional accounting certification, 18 graduate hours in business, and relevant teaching experience in the area of tax accounting.

Applicants should have: (a) minimum of Master of Accounting or similar with CPA; (b) an interest in teaching introductory and upper-level accounting and business courses in the undergraduate program; (c) research and teaching experience commensurate with desired rank; and (d) a commitment to teaching traditional as well as nontraditional students in day and evening classes. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Staff Positions


Director, Internal Audit & Compliance
The Director of Internal Audit & Compliance is responsible for a variety of financial areas that complement the roles of the CFO and Controller. Responsibilities include: internal audit, compliance with regulatory agencies, tracking endowment funds and investments, custom reports using our enterprise software systems, liaison with development, financial aid and other key departments around campus, and special projects. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting and several years experience in non-profit accounting; college staff experience and public accounting experience is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary.
