These two classrooms will be used for lectures and non-laboratory based collaborative learning opportunities for students. Multimedia facilities will engage students in the learning process and expand their understanding of course material. Data ports at each student space will enhance their ability to manipulate and retain the materials and electronic resources used in the classroom.

Center for Women in Science and Technology

The Center for Women in Science and Technology will oversee the college's outreach science programs, including SPECTACLES two one-week residential math and science summer camps for middle school girls designed with activities and opportunities to encourage interest in math and the sciences; KISMET, Kids in Science, Math, Engineering and Technology, an outreach program designed for K-12 girls; Science in the Summer, providing summertime research opportunities for Wesleyan's students to accelerate the studies of our pre-professional majors; and the Summer Chautauqua program, providing intensive topical instruction and resources to middle-school and high-school science teachers in Georgia.

The director of the Center for Women in Science and Technology will use this office to coordinate the College's outreach and continuing education programs in the sciences.

Community Learning Center - MSC 261
This multipurpose room will provide meeting, equipment storage, and preparatory space to support the community outreach efforts of the Center for Women in Science and Technology.  This room is located adjacent to the General Chemistry Teaching Lab, which will permit students of all ages who are participating in these programs to engage in hands-on biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics experiments.
