Summer Camps and Conferences

These dorms are available for overnight campers: Banks, Hightower, Wortham, Persons, and Jones. The dorm room rental is $17.00 a night per person/double occupancy.
The campus is open for meetings, gatherings and recreation if available. The buildings are Tate and Taylor classrooms and Anderson Amphitheatre, Olive Swann Porter Building (Manget and Trice Conference Room), Porter Fine Arts Building (auditorium and studio theatre), and Porter Gym (pool, gym and dance studio).
The charges are:
- Classroom: $120.00 each room/full day
- Amphitheatre: $252.00 full day
- Manget : $150.00 full day
- Trice Conference Room: $240.00 full day/half room $120.00
- Porter Auditorium: $1,200.00 full day
- Studio Theatre: $360.00 full day
- Porter Pool: $90.00 full day
- Porter Gym: $360.00 full day
- Dance Studio: $60.00 full day
In the past we have rented to international groups, hospital student workers, cheer and dance companies, teen pageants, church sponsored groups, Methodist ministers groups, athletic groups, and Junior League.
A camp may register from one night to full month.
Depending on the length of stay, number attending, and facility usage the cost ranges from $950.00 to $16,000.00. |
