Wesleyan’s softball team competes as a member of the Great South Athletic Conference and travels to South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and various cities throughout Georgia.
As a member of the Great South Athletic Conference, the team competes annually for an automatic bid to the NCAA National Tournament. Only the Conference champion, as determined by the end of the season tournament championship, earns this honor.
Wesleyan players have been named to the All-Conference Team, and have earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American honors. In 2006-2007 four transfer student-athletes joined our team.

The Pioneers’ home field is part of the Mathews Athletic Complex and Athletic Center, which also includes up-to-date weightlifting and cardio equipment.
