Wesleyan College softball calls the Mathews Athletic Complex home, utilizing a great field that features seating for 200 as well as lighting that makes night games a regular occurrence on our campus. The Pioneers have earned several conference awards as well as National Fastpitch Coaches Association accolades in the last decade.
Playing at Wesleyan gives student-athletes the opportunity to face great competition within NCAA Division III and the Great South Athletic Conference. Our team travels throughout the Southeast and extensively through the state of Georgia for games, adding to the overall collegiate experience for our student-athletes.
While the competition is important, the college also values the philosophy of Division III athletics: the impact of athletics on its participants, an emphasis on internal constituents, a high level of sportsmanship, encouraging participation, and the incorporation of athletics into the overall mission of the institution.
