Wesleyan Basketball Snaps Nation’s Longest Losing Streak 
Wesleyan College ended the nation’s longest women’s basketball losing streak among all NCAA Divisions at 67 games by defeating Fisk University 54-51. The Pioneers (1-21) last victory came three years ago to the day when they defeated Agnes Scott College.

No kidding. She spent one night during the Thanksgiving holiday at a high school basketball game in Columbus with her father, a retired coach. They just went to a random game, and sat and watched and talked basketball. The old coach and perhaps the budding coach, currently plying her trade as a freshman point guard at Wesleyan College.

Wesleyan Duo Rank Among the Top in Great South Competiton
Despite a winless record this season, Wesleyan basketball players Carisa Mitchell and Erica Darden are doing their part to spark the Pioneer offense. The pair of student-athletes lead the Great South Athletic Conference in scoring while ranking among the top ten league players in rebounding.

The Wesleyan College basketball team jumped out to a quick start on Wednesday night, but two long scoring droughts ultimately buried the Pioneers, who suffered an 80-52 conference loss to the Jaguars.

The Wesleyan College Pioneers jumped out to an early lead against the Conquerors of Piedmont Baptist College on Friday night but suffered from poor second half shooting to drop the game 66-56.

Wesleyan Basketball Drops Game to LaGrange
The Wesleyan Pioneer basketball team took the court short-handed once again on Wednesday night, dropping their game against conference opponent LaGrange College, 84-41.


Short-Handed Wesleyan Comes Up Short Against St. Joseph's College
In their first game back from the holiday break, the Wesleyan College basketball team put forth one of its best efforts of the season in a 68-60 loss to St. Joseph’s College of New York.
