Since 1836, Wesleyan Women have been making history.
Alumnae Profiles
There is no such thing as a typical Wesleyan woman, so it stands to reason that none of our graduates follow a typical career path. Wesleyan women are pioneers. Well-prepared and confident, our alumnae make their mark in virtually every professional arena. At Wesleyan, First for Women isn't just a claim to fame -- it's a philosophy that explains why Wesleyan women are making history still today.  We're anchored in tradition and guided by an innovative spirit.

Among Wesleyan alumnae are doctors, lawyers, CEOs, writers, teachers, law enforcement officers, artists…the list is endless. However, what they do have in common is the benefit of a liberal arts education and that bond we call "sisterhood." Women from all walks of life -– all ethnic, religious and social backgrounds -– meet at Wesleyan and not only gain life-long friendships but a wider understanding of the world at large.

Explore some of the many links listed to the left under Alumnae Profiles and meet dozens of successful alumnae in the fields of science, law and politics, education, fine arts, and business.
