Because places for transfer students are limited, you should apply for fall as early as possible, preferably no later than May 15. We will consider fall transfer applicants who apply after May 15, but on a space available basis only. If you’re seeking spring admission, you should submit your application and all supporting documents by December 1.

Although not officially “required,” we encourage every transfer applicant to submit a Professor Recommendation Form completed by a professor and to have a personal interview with a member of our Admission staff. You might also want to submit a sample of your creative work (poetry, photography, art, music, research, etc.). Just remember: We can’t return materials, so send only copies, slides, cassette tapes or photographs.
