Nontraditional Programs for Adult Learners
|
Wesleyan is the only college in the area to create a distinct combination of undergraduate programs with flexible scheduling options catering to the busy lives of nontraditional students. Our Encore Day, Evening, and Weekend programs allow women the flexibility required to begin or complete a college degree.
To be eligible for the Nontraditional Programs, applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0, been out of high school for at least three years, be married, have a child, or have served in the military.
Want to finish that degree you started years ago? Great, then check our Encore Program. Or maybe you want to take some classes, but need the flexibility of our Evening Program.
If you’ve started working towards a degree, our Weekend Degree Completion Program is an accelerated degree program that allows you to complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration without interrupting your work schedule.
Our Business Management Certificate Program offers basic courses to help you get ahead in entry-level positions and management training. Beyond that, the credits you earn will count towards a bachelor’s degree should you decide to further pursue your education.
And if you’re a long-term substitute teacher or a paraprofessional, the Pioneer Teachers Program gives you the opportunity to become certified to teach while continuing to work full time in Bibb County public schools. If you already hold an undergraduate degree, but would like to become certified to teach in a Bibb County Public School, be sure to find out more about Georgia TAPP. |
